FAQ & Aftercare

Common Questions

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes — walk-ins are welcome every day, 11am to 5pm, based on artist availability. Our shop minimum is $100. Availability varies, so we recommend calling 801-918-3133 or texting 801-810-0132 the same day before stopping by.

How do I book custom work?

Contact the artist whose style fits your vision directly — each artist's Instagram and booking info is on their page. Or fill out the booking form on the contact page and we'll route it to the right artist.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Shop minimum is $100. Beyond that, pricing depends on size, detail, placement, and time — your artist will discuss pricing during your consultation, before any needle touches skin.

How do I prepare?

Rest up, eat well, and stay hydrated. Wear comfortable clothes that give easy access to the area being tattooed, and bring any inspo photos. We want you to feel at ease and ready.

Do you do piercings?

Yes — professional piercing services are available by appointment only, to ensure proper preparation and care.

Can you do cover-ups?

Usually, yes. Cover-ups are case-by-case — Megan specializes in them. Send a clear photo of the existing tattoo with your booking request and we'll tell you honestly what's possible.

Where do I park?

Street parking is available on Main Street, with additional free parking in the rear lot behind the shop. Enter through the back door during business hours.

Aftercare

Your artist will walk you through aftercare in person, but here are the basics:

  1. 1Leave the bandage on as long as your artist instructed (usually 2–24 hours depending on the type of bandage).
  2. 2Wash gently with unscented antibacterial soap and warm water. Pat dry with a clean paper towel — never a bath towel.
  3. 3Apply a thin layer of unscented moisturizer or the aftercare product your artist recommends, 2–3 times a day.
  4. 4No swimming, soaking, saunas, or direct sun for at least 2 weeks. Showers are fine.
  5. 5Do not pick or scratch. Peeling and light scabbing are normal — let it happen.
  6. 6Wear loose, clean clothing over the area while it heals.
  7. 7Once healed, sunscreen is your tattoo's best friend. Always.

If you notice signs of infection — spreading redness, excessive swelling, pus, or fever — contact a doctor first, then let us know. Questions during healing? Call us at 801-918-3133 or DM the shop. We'd always rather you ask.
